| Dr. McKeating received his bachelor of arts degree from Washington & Jefferson College, and his medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh in 1985. His internship and residency were performed at Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh. He completed a fellowship in surgical oncology at Roswell Park in Buffalo, New York in 1990, and subsequently began his surgical practice here in Pittsburgh later that year. Dr. McKeating is certified by the American Board of Surgery and is an active staff member of UPMC Passavant at Cranberry and UPMC Passavant Main Hospital in the Pittsburgh area.
